A Great And Terrible Beauty (Resercher)

Pippa (a main character) has Epilepsy. Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that is charecterized by reaccurent random seizures. Pippa has a seizure in the book. Her mother tells her that she should hide and it and that no man would ever want her if he knew. She is told if she feels a seizure coming, she must say it is a headache and excuse herself to the bathroom.

  1. Zoe, what are you researching in this post? I dont quite get what its about. Pippa is not the main character... so I think that instead of saying she is a main character expalin how she is involved in teh book because Gemma is the main character.

  2. I didn't say Pippa was THE main charecter, I said she was a main charecter in the story (along with Gemma, Ann & Felicity). I reserched Epilepsy (a disorder Pippa has).

But thank you for the constructive critism.

  3. I understand what epilepsy is but I feel as though you could have gotten a little more information on it. I can aslo agree with what Robin has stated, I feel as though you should say that she is friends or acquaintance's with Gemma. Other then that I think you wrote a short, yet to the point passage

  4. I too agree with Jessye. I think that you could have went a little more in depth with what epilepsy is.
